An art print created from my original watercolor and ink illustration, inspired by a dreamlike and symbolic vision of Genoa.
In the foreground, a large whale emerges from the sea like a silent, poetic creature, suspended between dream and reality. Above it, the city skyline unfolds, featuring its most iconic symbols: the Bigo del Porto Antico (Old Port Bridge), the Sopraelevata (elevated bridge), the Matitone (large wooden pencil), the majestic Lanterna (lighthouse), and the colorful houses typical of Ligurian tradition.
The scene unites nature and architecture, sea and city, reality and imagination, creating a delicate and powerful visual narrative, where Genoa becomes a city suspended between poetry and myth.
